BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-IX-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-IX-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25 m links in data centres and network equipment racks. The cable features SFP28 male-to-male terminations, a lightweight 0.15 kg mint-coloured jacket and integrated transmitter and receiver modules to support short-range multimode fibre connections. It is intended for high-speed 25GbE and related applications where low latency and low power consumption are required over short distances.

Advantages

The active optical cable delivers 25 Gbit/s throughput using industry-standard SFP28 form-factor connectors, combining electrical-to-optical conversion at each end for reliable signal integrity over 25 metres. The mint-coloured outer jacket and compact, lightweight construction simplify cable identification and handling in dense rack environments. Because the transceivers are integrated, the AOC eliminates separate module purchases and reduces potential connector loss versus discrete transceiver-plus-fibre assemblies.

Suitable for

• Short-range 25GbE links between switches and servers
• High-speed interconnects in data centres and server rooms
• Low-latency connections for storage systems and aggregation switches
• Environments requiring compact, lightweight multimode optical links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (each end): SFP28
• Maximum data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Jacket colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Active optical cable with integrated transmitter and receiver modules
• Multimode fibre optical transmission for short-range links

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-IX-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on switches, servers or other network devices while the equipment is powered down or following hot-plug guidance of the device manufacturer. Ensure the connectors are fully seated and the latches engage. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode AOC assemblies. After physical connection, verify link status and configure network interfaces as required by your operating system or network equipment.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short, high-bandwidth links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid exposure to excessive heat, chemicals, or sharp edges, and do not exceed the recommended bend radius. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and verify that your switch or server firmware supports active optical cable insertion.
