BlueOptics SFP28 AOC InfiniBand optický kábel 25 m SFP28–SFP28 mätová

Active optical cable BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-LS-BO is a 25 m SFP28–SFP28 AOC designed for 25 Gbps SFP28 ports and high-speed InfiniBand and fibre connections. The cable features SFP28 male connectors on both ends and a lightweight construction (0.15 kg). Its mint colour and flexible multimode optical design make it suitable for data centre interconnects, server-to-switch links and short-to-medium range fibre runs where reliable 25 Gbit/s links are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules at each end to support optical signal transmission over multimode fibre for up to 25 Gbit/s. The SFP28–SFP28 configuration follows common SFP28 form factor standards to ensure compatibility with devices that accept SFP28 AOC modules. Its 25 m length provides a middle-ground reach between short copper DACs and longer transceiver-plus-fibre assemblies, while the low weight and compact cable body simplify routing in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack-to-rack and shelf-to-shelf interconnects
• Server-to-switch or storage-to-switch links requiring 25 Gbit/s capacity
• Short-to-medium distance fibre runs inside buildings and technical rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28
• Rated data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Product colour: Mint colour

How to use

Ensure both host ports support SFP28 AOC modules and are powered down or follow hot-swap guidelines from your hardware vendor. Align and insert each SFP28 plug into the corresponding port until it latches. Confirm link and speed negotiation on connected devices and verify optical link status via device management interfaces. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain and secure with appropriate cable management to maintain fibre performance.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for 25 Gbit/s links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and keep the connectors clean when inserting to ensure optimal signal performance.
