BlueOptics X66205-1-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 1 m MPO 4x LC OM4

The BlueOptics X66205-1-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 1 m OM4 multimode patch cable with an MPO connector on one end and four LC duplex connectors on the other. Designed for high-density and high-speed network links, this cable supports full duplex transmission and uses a 125 µm core diameter multimode fibre optimized for laser sources. The cable is suitable for linking patch panels, transceivers and optical modules in data centers and enterprise networks where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics MPO to 4x LC OM4 cable offers low insertion loss and high return loss, consistent with OM4 multimode performance expectations. The cable is produced with quality fibre and connector components to ensure reliable optical transmission and high mating-cycle durability. A flame-retardant LSZH outer sheath reduces halogen emissions and smoke in the event of fire, supporting safer installations in confined or public spaces. Each cable is tested after production with interferometer and OTDR and is supplied with measured input loss and return loss values.

How to use

Handle the MPO and LC connectors by their housings and avoid touching the polished endfaces. Before connection, check and, if necessary, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Plug the MPO end into the MPO-style port or cassette and route the 4x LC duplex connectors to the corresponding LC ports on patch panels or transceivers, ensuring correct polarity and alignment. Secure the cable using appropriate cable management to avoid sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for multimode OM4 fibre.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in a clean environment, protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not in use, and perform periodic optical loss measurements after installation to verify link performance.
