BlueOptics XXVAOCBL10M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 10m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics XXVAOCBL10M-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 10m SFP28 Aqua is a 10‑meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 to SFP28 male connectors. Designed for high‑speed InfiniBand and 25GBASE‑SR4 applications, this pre‑assembled multimode fibre cable integrates a transmitter and receiver in each connector to enable simultaneous bi‑directional optical signal transfer. The cable is intended for use in data centres and networking environments that support SFP28 AOC modules.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC offers a plug‑and‑play SFP28 to SFP28 connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing insertion points and potential attenuation. The assembled multimode fibre construction reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and supports consistent optical performance over the 10 m link. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) is supported when the host hardware enables the function, providing live data for supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XXVAOCBL10M‑BO by inserting the SFP28 connectors into compatible SFP28 ports on your switches, routers or storage devices. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot‑plug procedures recommended by the hardware vendor when inserting or removing AOCs. If digital diagnostics are required, verify that the host platform supports DDM/DOM to access real‑time diagnostic parameters.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the 10 m cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, maintain a clean environment around connector interfaces, and confirm host compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and DDM/DOM features before deployment.
