BlueOptics XXVAOCBL7M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 7 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics XXVAOCBL7M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) with SFP28-to-SFP28 male connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and networking environments. Implementing 25GBASE-SR4 compatible transmission over multimode fibre, the cable provides simultaneous transmit and receive laser channels integrated in the transceiver modules at each end and supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) when the host hardware exposes that interface.

Advantages

This SFP28 AOC follows MSA-compliant mechanical and electrical specifications for SFP28 connections and is intended as a plug-and-play optical link for compatible network switches, routers and storage systems. The cable supports 25 Gbit/s per lane aggregated high-speed applications such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet and is factory-tested for interoperability with major hardware platforms that accept 25G SFP28 AOCs. Integrated diagnostic feedback via DDM/DOM enables remote monitoring of supply voltage, laser bias current, output and received optical power and temperature when the host system supports these functions.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XXVAOCBL7M-BO by plugging each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices. Ensure the host devices support SFP28 AOC modules and, if DDM data is required, that the system firmware exposes the diagnostic interface. No additional patching or fibre termination is necessary because the cable is factory-terminated and pre-assembled. Verify link status and diagnostics in the host management interface after insertion.

Recommendations

Use this 7 m SFP28 AOC for short to medium reach multimode connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable, keep connectors free of contaminants, and follow the host vendor guidelines for hot-plugging SFP28 modules. Confirm DDM/DOM support and compatibility with your hardware before deployment if real-time diagnostic monitoring is required.
