Dätwyler Cat 6 S/FTP patch kábel RJ45 na RJ45, 0,5 m, červený, LSZH 21.05.0001

Network reliability often comes down to the smallest link in the chain: the patch cable. This Dätwyler Cat 6 S/FTP patch cable eliminates weak points with robust shielding and precision-moulded RJ45 connectors, delivering stable 10-Gigabit Ethernet over short runs. At 0.5 metres, it is ideal for tidy patching between switches, patch panels, and servers in high-density racks.

Who is it for

IT administrators, data centre technicians, and AV professionals who need a dependable, halogen-free patch cord for secure, high-speed connections in confined spaces. It suits enterprise networks, server rooms, and any environment where fire safety and signal integrity are paramount.

Main features

• Cat 6 performance with 250 MHz bandwidth, supporting 10GBASE-T up to 55 m (this 0.5 m length easily meets that requirement).
• S/FTP shielding: each pair is foiled (FTP) and the overall cable is braided (S), providing excellent protection against EMI/RFI crosstalk.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) red jacket: emits very low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, meeting IEC 60332-1 flame retardancy.
• Stranded 26 AWG copper conductors (7-strand) offer flexibility for frequent re-patching without breakage.
• Gold-plated RJ45 male connectors on both ends, wired to TIA/EIA-568B for universal compatibility.
• Halogen-free construction for safer indoor use in public buildings, offices, and data centres.

Tips

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius (typically 4x cable diameter). Use colour-coded cables like this red one to quickly identify network segments or priority connections. Pair with Cat 6 or higher components to maintain full 10G speeds.
