Ethernetový patch kábel CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP 8 m, čierny

CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP 8 m Ethernet patch cable in black is built for high-speed, short-run network connections. The cable meets Cat8 performance expectations and uses screened shielded twisted pair (S/STP) construction with standard RJ45 connectors for plug-and-play installation. Its design aims to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making it suitable for environments that require stable, low-loss transmission such as data centers, server rooms, and demanding home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/STP construction provides enhanced shielding around each pair and an overall screen to reduce external interference. Cat8-rated performance supports higher frequency transmission compared with earlier categories, improving bandwidth capacity for supported equipment. The 8 meter length covers typical rack-to-rack or room-to-room cabling needs without excessive slack. Standard RJ45 terminations allow compatibility with commonly used network equipment and straightforward plug-and-play operation.

Suitable for

• Connections between switches, patch panels and servers in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed links for networked storage, virtualization hosts, and network appliances
• Backbone or short-run wiring in demanding office or home networking setups
• Environments where reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference are required

Key specifications

• Brand: CABLETIME
• Model / MPN: CA915712
• EAN: 6975285505707
• Category: Cat8
• Cable type: S/STP (screened, shielded twisted pair)
• Length: 8 m
• Color: Black
• Connector: RJ45 (plug-and-play)

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, patch panels, servers or routers until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible. For rack installations, secure excess length with cable management accessories to maintain neat runs and to prevent sharp kinks that could affect performance. The cable requires no additional configuration and functions immediately after connection provided the connected equipment supports the required speeds and standards.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8 S/STP cable for short to medium-length links where shielding and high-frequency performance are needed. Maintain bend radii recommended by the equipment or cable manufacturer and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Verify that endpoints (switches, NICs) support the desired network speeds to take full advantage of Cat8 capabilities.
