InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics 980-9I133-00E050-BO QSFP28 AOC 50 m modrý

The BlueOptics 980-9I133-00E050-BO QSFP28 AOC 50 m is an active optical cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand and fibre optic connections. With QSFP28 connectors on both ends and a 50 m length, this AOC supports low-latency, high-throughput links required in data centers and high-performance computing clusters. The cable combines optical transmission with a durable stainless steel element and a blue outer colour for easy identification in rack environments.

Advantages

This AOC provides high data rates and low latency typical of QSFP28 interfaces while eliminating the need for separate transceivers. The 50 m length enables flexible inter-rack or intra-rack placement without active repeaters. The stainless steel components enhance mechanical robustness and longevity under regular installation and maintenance. The blue sheath improves cable management by making the cable visually distinct among other network cabling.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Data centre top-of-rack and spine connections
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links requiring QSFP28 bandwidth
• Environments where low latency and high throughput are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Connectors: QSFP28 to QSFP28
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Product colour and finish: Blue outer sheath with stainless steel elements

How to use

Install by connecting each QSFP28 connector to the corresponding QSFP28 port on your network equipment. Ensure ports are powered down or follow hot-plug guidelines provided by the equipment manufacturer if applicable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from crushing or excessive tension; AOC assemblies require gentle handling of the connector and the optical cable. Verify link status and speed on both endpoints after connection to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, maintain bend radius recommendations from the vendor, avoid kinking the optical section, and label both ends for easy identification in dense cable environments. Use this AOC where QSFP28 native interfaces are supported and where a 50 m optical reach is sufficient for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections.
