InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics QSFP-40G-D-AOC-7M-CM-BO 7 m konektor/konektor

The BlueOptics QSFP-40G-D-AOC-7M-CM-BO is a 7‑metre active optical cable designed for high‑speed InfiniBand and fibre‑optic networking environments. Equipped with QSFP connectors on both ends, this male‑to‑male AOC delivers 40 Gbps class connectivity intended for short‑reach links in data centres, server racks and network aggregation points. The cable’s construction reduces electromagnetic interference and supports efficient airflow in dense cabling setups.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides low latency and consistent throughput for 40 Gbps links, while its optical design eliminates susceptibility to electrical noise. The 7 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across racks without additional patch panels. QSFP terminations enable straightforward compatibility with switches, network adapters and interconnect modules that support QSFP interfaces.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the QSFP connectors into compatible QSFP ports on switches, network adapters or transceiver modules. Ensure ports and modules support 40 Gbps QSFP AOC connections and that link settings on devices are configured for the intended protocol (for example, InfiniBand or Ethernet over QSFP). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to maintain proper airflow in the rack. No separate power supply or transceivers are required beyond the QSFP ports that provide the necessary interface.

Recommendations

Handle the BlueOptics QSFP AOC carefully to avoid stressing the fibre assemblies; maintain bend radii according to manufacturer guidance and verify module compatibility with your network equipment before deployment. For optimal signal performance, keep the connectors clean and store the cable in a dust‑free environment when not in use.
