InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics S+AO0003-BO 3 m SFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics S+AO0003-BO is a 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male-to-male connectors designed for 10GBASE-SR applications. The pre-assembled multi-mode fiber AOC integrates a transmitter and receiver at each end and complies with SFP+ MSA mechanical and electrical interfaces, providing a plug-and-play optical link for switches, routers, storage systems and other networking hardware that support SFP+ AOCs.

Advantages

This 3 m BlueOptics AOC delivers 10 Gbit/s data rates over multi-mode fiber with low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference, enabling stable high-speed connections in rack-to-rack and chassis-to-chassis environments. Built according to MSA guidelines and populated with quality components, it supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time parameters such as supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit/receive power and temperature. The fully assembled cable eliminates the need for patch cords and connector cleaning, reducing insertion loss and simplifying installation and maintenance.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert the SFP+ modules on each end of the BlueOptics S+AO0003-BO into compatible SFP+ ports on your networking devices while the equipment is powered according to the device vendor’s instructions. Verify that the host devices support SFP+ AOCs and, if required, enable or check DDM/DOM support in the device management interface to access diagnostic parameters. After insertion the link should be negotiated automatically; confirm link speed and optical status in the network management system or device console.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and keep the AOC away from high-temperature sources. Ensure the connected devices support 10GBASE-SR with SFP+ AOC modules and, when troubleshooting, inspect DDM/DOM readouts for optical power and temperature values to detect potential issues early.
