InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-20M-BO SFP+ konektor samec 20 m oranžový

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-20M-BO SFP+ Male 20m Orange is an active optical cable engineered for high-speed InfiniBand and fibre-optic network links. With SFP+ male connectors on both ends and a 20 m length, this orange cable provides a compact, low-latency connection option for switches, servers and network appliances that accept SFP+ transceivers. Its factory-terminated design eliminates separate transceivers and patch cords, simplifying installation while maintaining signal integrity for demanding data-center and enterprise environments.

Advantages

This 20 m active optical cable offers high bandwidth capability and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives, while the SFP+ terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with equipment that supports SFP+ ports. The orange jacket improves cable identification in dense cabling environments. Being a single pre-terminated assembly, it reduces points of failure and eases cable management without requiring separate fibre connectors or complex field terminations.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-20M-BO by inserting each SFP+ male connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your devices until the retention latch engages. Ensure both endpoints support SFP+ active optical cables and that firmware or compatibility lists permit AOC usage. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and keep within the manufacturer-recommended bend radius. No field termination is required; the assembly is ready for immediate operation once connected.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify device compatibility with SFP+ AOCs, maintain proper airflow around connected equipment, and avoid kinking the cable. Use the orange colour to label or segregate high-speed optical links in rack deployments for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
