InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel BlueOptics 980-9I13V-00E020-BO QSFP28 AOC 20 m modrý

The BlueOptics 980-9I13V-00E020-BO QSFP28 AOC 20 m Blue is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for InfiniBand and high-speed fibre optic network links. With QSFP28 connectors on both ends and a 20 metre length, this cable supports high-bandwidth data transmission with low latency and is suitable for use in data centres, server rooms and high-performance computing environments. The cable combines a blue outer jacket with stainless steel elements in its construction for improved durability while preserving flexibility for routing and installation.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers high-speed connectivity through QSFP28 interfaces, offering reduced signal attenuation over longer distances compared with copper alternatives. The 20 m length enables flexible placement of equipment without signal repeaters, and the AOC design provides lower power consumption and simplified routing. Durable materials, including stainless steel elements, increase mechanical strength and resistance to wear in demanding installations. The blue colour aids visual identification within dense cabling infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, switches to servers and switches to storage in data centres
• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Server racks and top-of-rack installations with QSFP28 ports
• Environments requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links over distances up to 20 m

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Connectors: QSFP28 to QSFP28
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Blue with stainless steel elements
• Weight: approximately 0.15 kg
• Application: InfiniBand and high-speed fibre optic networks

How to use

Before installation, verify that both endpoints have compatible QSFP28 ports and that the equipment supports AOC connections. Route the cable through rack openings or cable management trays ensuring gentle bends that do not exceed the manufacturer's minimum bend radius. Align and insert QSFP28 connectors firmly into the ports until they latch, taking care to avoid touching optical interfaces. For removal, disengage the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damage. Check link status on connected devices after installation to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics QSFP28 AOC in controlled rack environments and avoid excessive tension, tight bends or exposure to sharp edges. Maintain clear labelling and separate power and data cabling where possible to simplify troubleshooting. For long-term reliability, inspect connectors periodically for contamination and clean with appropriate optical cleaning tools if needed.
