Objektívový filter OM System PRF-D40.5 PRO Multi-Coated 40,5 mm závitový filter

The OM System PRF-D40.5 PRO Multi-Coated 40.5 mm screw-in filter provides front-element protection while preserving image quality. This 40.5 mm filter features a PRO multi-coating that reduces surface reflections and ghosting, helping to maintain contrast and accurate color rendition. The slim, screw-in metal frame is designed for lenses that accept 40.5 mm threaded filters and offers a low-profile fit that minimizes vignetting on wide-angle optics.

Advantages

The PRO multi-coating lowers reflections from the filter surfaces, reducing flare and ghosting under mixed lighting. The optical glass is finished to retain sharpness and color fidelity across the frame. A durable metal outer ring and precise threading provide secure attachment and reliable protection of the lens front element from dust, moisture and incidental contact. The slim construction reduces the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses while remaining compatible with common 40.5 mm screw mounts.

Suitable for

• Everyday outdoor and indoor photography where front-element protection is needed
• Travel and street photography with compact lenses that use 40.5 mm filters
• Studio work requiring neutral protection of the lens without affecting color balance
• Landscape and architectural shooting where reduced reflections improve contrast

Key specifications

• Filter type: Multi-coated protective screw-in filter
• Filter thread diameter: 40.5 mm
• Coating: Multi-layer anti-reflective coating to reduce reflections and ghosting
• Frame: Slim metal screw ring to minimize vignetting
• Optical material: High-quality optical glass for preserved sharpness and color fidelity

How to use

Align the filter threads with the lens front threads and turn clockwise until the filter seats securely; do not overtighten. Use the filter attached for general shooting to protect the lens surface from dust, fingerprints and light impacts. Clean the filter surface with a soft microfibre cloth or appropriate lens cleaning solution to maintain optical performance. When stacking filters or using wide-angle lenses, check for vignetting and adjust by using a slim adapter or removing additional filters if necessary.

Recommendations

For consistent results, keep the filter clean and handle it by the outer ring to avoid touching the glass. Remove the filter for long-term storage of lenses in dry conditions if moisture or temperature fluctuations are expected; otherwise, leave it mounted for daily protection.
