Optický AOC kábel BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-EN-BO — 25 m, SFP28 konektor-konektor, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-EN-BO is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends and a 25 m mint-coloured jacket. Engineered for 25 Gbps server, switch and storage interconnects, this twin SFP28 link uses multimode optical transmission with integrated transmitters and receivers in each connector. The cable provides a lightweight alternative to copper for short-reach rack-to-rack and aggregation connections in data center environments while maintaining compatibility with systems that accept SFP28 AOCs.

Advantages

The AOC delivers 25 Gbit/s full-duplex throughput over 25 m using multimode optics, reducing electromagnetic interference and improving signal integrity compared with equivalent copper assemblies. Its lightweight construction (approximately 0.15 kg) and flexible mint-coloured jacket simplify cable management and identification in dense rack deployments. Built to SFP28 MSA physical form-factor specifications, the cable integrates transceivers at each end for plug-and-play operation with SFP28 ports that support active optical cables.

Suitable for

• Short-reach rack-to-rack connections in data centers
• 25G server-to-switch and switch-to-switch uplinks
• Storage networking and switch aggregation links
• Environments requiring EMI-immunity and reduced cable weight

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Transmission medium: multimode active optical cable with integrated Tx/Rx
• Typical weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Install the SFP28-AOC-25M-EN-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on the devices to be linked, ensuring connectors are fully seated and latches engaged. No external power or additional transceivers are required beyond SFP28 slots that accept active optical cables. After connection, verify link status and negotiated speed on both endpoints according to the host equipment diagnostics. Handle the cable by the jacket and SFP28 housings; avoid tight bends and excessive pulling forces to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this 25 m SFP28 AOC within the bend-radius and mechanical limits specified by the equipment vendor, connect to SFP28 ports that explicitly support AOCs, and verify firmware or driver compatibility if required by your switch or server platform.
