Optický kábel BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-20M-BO aquamarín 20 m OM3

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-20M-BO is a 20 m OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with an LC/UPC connector on one end and an SC/UPC connector on the other. Designed for full-duplex high-speed data transmission, this Aqua-coloured cable uses laser-optimized OM3 fibre to support short-range multimode links in data centre and enterprise network environments. The cable features an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer sheath for improved fire safety and is manufactured and tested to meet common industry requirements for loss and return loss.

Advantages

This OM3 LC–SC patch cable provides low attenuation and high return loss for reliable signal integrity across short to medium multimode runs. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for long-term durability and consistent mating performance. The cable is produced with branded multimode fibre and quality connector components, and each unit is tested with interferometer and OTDR methods to provide documented input loss and return loss values. The LSZH sheath reduces smoke and halogen emissions in the event of fire while the Aqua colour simplifies identification of OM3 links.

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical strain; adhere to the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port ensuring correct alignment until each connector latches. Verify link operation using appropriate optical transceivers and measure optical loss with a power meter or use the supplied test report to confirm compliance with expected input and return loss values. When routing in trays or racks, secure the cable to prevent tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the Aqua-coloured OM3 cable for multimode 10 Gigabit and shorter wavelength links; avoid contaminating connector endfaces—clean connectors before mating and store unused connectors with dust caps. For maximum lifetime, avoid repeated unnecessary mating cycles and follow data centre cable management best practices.
