Optický kábel BlueOptics CAB-OM4-SN-LC-2M-BO LC SN OM4 2m ružový

The BlueOptics CAB-OM4-SN-LC-2M-BO is a 2-meter multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-bandwidth, short-range optical connections. It uses OM4 laser-optimized multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and is fitted with SN/UPC and LC/UPC connectors. The cable is offered in pink and features a flame-retardant LSZH sheathing for safer indoor installations. It is compatible with Cisco-style deployments and intended for linking patch panels, network equipment and optical transceivers where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

The OM4 fibre construction provides improved modal bandwidth and supports higher data rates over short distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. Factory-terminated SN/UPC to LC/UPC connectors ensure consistent optical performance and simplified installation. LSZH sheathing reduces smoke and toxic gas emissions in the event of fire, which makes the cable suitable for indoor and rack-mounted environments. The 2 m length offers convenient reach for common cabinet and rack layouts.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports before connection to ensure they are clean and free of dust. Align the SN/UPC and LC/UPC connectors with the corresponding equipment ports and insert until the connector latch engages. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for multimode fibre to prevent attenuation or damage. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw the connector from the port.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-traffic crush points, and store unused connectors with protective caps to preserve connector end-face quality.
