Optický kábel BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C01-L-BO LC LC/UPC OM4 1 m fialový

The BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C01-L-BO LC to LC/UPC fibre optic patch cable is a 1 metre OM4 multimode link engineered for consistent, high-speed data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC/UPC connectors on both ends, this violet-coloured cable is suitable for short-range, high-bandwidth environments such as data centres and InfiniBand networks. Its OM4 specification offers improved modal bandwidth over earlier multimode grades to support higher transfer rates and reduced signal dispersion in typical multimode applications.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides predictable performance for short-distance, high-throughput links thanks to its 50 µm core and LC/UPC terminations. The standardized connector type ensures compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The violet jacket makes cable identification straightforward within dense cabling environments, reducing installation and maintenance time. The 1 m length offers a tidy, low-latency connection between adjacent racks, switches, or host channel adapters.

How to use

Prior to installation, inspect connector endfaces for contamination and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC duplex adapter or transceiver port until it clicks to ensure a secure mechanical connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibres. For best optical performance, avoid excessive pulling force during installation and secure the cable with cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC–LC cable for short-distance links up to the supported reach of OM4 multimode in your specific hardware and transceiver combination. Regularly inspect and clean connectors to maintain low insertion loss and reliable signal integrity. Store spare cables in a dust-free environment and avoid crushing or kinking the jacket to prolong service life.
