Optický kábel BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C30-L-BO LC LC/UPC OM4 30 m fialový

The BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C30-L-BO LC to LC/UPC fibre optic cable is a 30 meter OM4 multimode link designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC/UPC terminations on both ends, the cable supports short- to medium-range connections in data centres, network rooms and campus backbones. The violet jacket provides visual identification for organised cabling and helps separate this link from other fibre runs.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fibre meets industry performance parameters for higher bandwidth and lower attenuation compared with lower-grade multimode types, enabling reliable transmission of high data rates over 30 m runs. The LC/UPC connectors offer stable, low-loss connections suitable for transceivers and patch panels with LC ports. The 50 µm core is compatible with multimode transceivers and optical hardware designed for OM4, and the violet jacket simplifies cable management and identification in dense installations.

How to use

Route the cable along cable trays or through cable management channels to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. Insert the LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click into place. Verify link integrity using appropriate optical test equipment or by checking network connectivity and throughput after installation. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius, keep connectors clean using proper fibre cleaning tools, and use dust caps when ports are unused. Match the cable to OM4-capable transceivers and active equipment to fully utilise the cable's bandwidth and reach. Label both ends for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
