Optický kábel BlueOptics SFP3233FU0.5MK SC ST OM4 0,5 m purpurová

The BlueOptics SFP3233FU0.5MK SC–ST OM4 0.5 m fibre optic cable is designed for short-range, high-bandwidth connections in data centres and networking environments. This OM4 multimode cable provides low attenuation and high modal bandwidth for reliable signal transmission over short links. With an SC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other, the cable supports full-duplex operation and is suitable for InfiniBand and other high-speed interconnects where OM4 performance is required. The magenta jacket colour aids cable identification within dense installations.

Advantages

The cable offers a compact 0.5 m length that minimises excess slack and improves airflow in rack-mounted systems. OM4 multimode construction delivers enhanced bandwidth and lower dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, supporting higher data rates on short runs. The combination of SC and ST connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and legacy equipment while maintaining stable optical contacts. The durable outer jacket provides mechanical protection and easy visual identification in cabling bundles.

How to use

Verify connector compatibility with your transceivers or equipment before installation; align the SC and ST connectors to their respective ports and insert until a secure optical connection is achieved. Ensure cable routing avoids tight bends and mechanical stress to preserve optical performance. When connecting in a rack or patch panel, use the 0.5 m length to minimise excess looped cable and maintain tidy cable management. For best optical results, keep connector endfaces clean and inspect or clean with appropriate fibre optic tools if contamination is suspected.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable following common fibre-optic precautions: avoid bending below the minimum bend radius, protect connector endfaces from dust and scratches, and label magenta cables within the rack for quick identification. Use this OM4 cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links where an SC-to-ST connection is required.
