Optický kábel BlueOptics SFP9231FU1MK MDC LC OM4 1 m magenta

The BlueOptics SFP9231FU1MK Magenta is a 1 m OM4 duplex fibre optic patch cord with an MDC (MTP/MPO-style compact) connector to LC connectors. Designed for laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) G50/125µm, this cable supports 850 nm transmission and full duplex communication. It features a flame-retardant LSZH jacket and is intended for reliable short-range high-speed links, InfiniBand applications and interconnection of transceivers and patch panels in data centres or network equipment racks.

Advantages

The OM4 fibre core and precision-terminated MDC to LC terminations deliver low insertion loss and consistent optical performance for multimode links. The 1 m length provides tidy cabling in dense rack environments and the duplex configuration supports simultaneous bi-directional data streams. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, helping meet safety requirements in enclosed spaces. The magenta jacket provides clear visual identification for network management and colour-coded cabling schemes.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP9231FU1MK by aligning and inserting the MDC connector into the corresponding MDC/MTP-style port and the LC connectors into the LC duplex ports on transceivers or patch panels. Ensure connectors and ports are free of dust; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress — follow the fibre minimum bend radius for OM4 multimode cables. Verify link status through connected equipment and test optical parameters if required.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment, keep protective caps on connectors until installation, and avoid sharp bends or crushing. Use this OM4 duplex cable for short-reach multimode applications at 850 nm and where LSZH jacket properties are needed for safety compliance.
