PIR pohybový senzor Panasonic EKMC1600100, pasívny infračervený detektor, napájanie 3–6 V, 1 ks

Panasonic EKMC1600100 is a compact passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor supplied as a single unit. Designed for integration into electronic devices and systems, the sensor detects changes in infrared radiation emitted by moving warm objects and provides a simple electrical output for security, lighting control and basic automation. The device operates from a low supply voltage and is suitable for applications where small size and reliable presence detection are required.

Advantages

The sensor offers low-voltage operation and compact dimensions that simplify integration into battery-powered or low-voltage circuits. Its passive infrared detection requires no active illumination and consumes minimal power in standby. The unit provides dependable detection of moving heat sources and a straightforward electrical interface that can be used with microcontrollers, alarm panels or lighting drivers.

Suitable for

• Presence detection in rooms, corridors and entryways
• Energy-saving lighting control and automated switching
• Basic intrusion or movement alarm inputs for security systems
• Embedded electronics projects and custom automation devices

Key specifications

• Detection technology: passive infrared (PIR)
• Supply voltage range: 3–6 V DC
• Form factor: compact module for integration
• Output: motion-detection electrical signal suitable for digital inputs
• Typical applications: presence detection, lighting control, basic alarm input

How to use

Mount the sensor in a position with an unobstructed view of the monitored area, avoiding direct exposure to heat sources that could cause false triggers. Connect the supply voltage within the specified 3–6 V range and route the sensor output to the device that will process the signal, such as a microcontroller input, alarm panel or lighting control circuit. Observe correct polarity and use recommended decoupling capacitors on the supply line if the environment has electrical noise. Test detection by walking through the sensor field of view and adjust placement or orientation if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the sensor where ambient temperature is stable and avoid mounting near HVAC vents or direct sunlight. Use short, shielded wiring for the output if the cable will run alongside noisy power lines, and follow the system manufacturer's guidelines for input conditioning when connecting to alarm or control electronics.
