Pokrievka na hrniec de Buyer 3709.24N, okrúhla, nehrdzavejúca oceľ, priemer 24 cm

de Buyer 3709.24N is a round stainless steel pan lid with a 24 cm diameter designed to cover pans of matching size. Manufactured entirely from stainless steel, the lid provides a tight fit to retain heat and moisture during cooking, promoting even simmering, steaming and braising. Its smooth surfaces resist staining and facilitate cleaning, making it suitable for both home kitchens and professional use.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance and long-term durability while offering a neutral surface that will not react with food. The lid’s shape and weight help maintain an even internal temperature and trap steam, which reduces cooking time and preserves flavour and moisture. Its polished finish is easy to wipe clean and is compatible with typical kitchen cleaning routines.

Suitable for

• Braising meat and slow-cooked dishes
• Everyday home cooking and professional kitchen use

Key specifications

• Shape: Round
• Material: Stainless steel (full construction)
• Diameter: 24 cm
• Compatible with: 24 cm pans and cookware of similar rim diameter
• Function: Retains heat and moisture for simmering, steaming and braising

How to use

Select a pan with a rim diameter that matches the lid’s 24 cm diameter. Place the lid centrally on the pan during cooking to trap steam and heat. Use the lid when simmering liquids, steaming vegetables, or braising proteins to maintain a stable cooking environment. Remove the lid briefly to check progress, stir, or reduce liquid as required. Allow the lid to cool slightly before handling and use suitable oven mitts or a dry cloth when the lid is hot.

Recommendations

For best results, clean the lid after each use with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. If used on high heat, avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent warping: let the lid cool before rinsing with cold water. Regular inspection of the fit with your 24 cm cookware will ensure effective heat and moisture retention.
