SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-BC-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-BC-BO is a 25-meter SFP+ active optical cable with male-to-male connectors designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. Its factory-terminated optical fibers provide a compact, low-latency connection between SFP+ ports without separate transceivers, making it suitable for high-density rack interconnects and short-reach data center links. The cable is finished in orange and its lightweight construction simplifies cable management in switch-to-switch, switch-to-server, or server-to-storage connections.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers native SFP+ form-factor compatibility and reliable 10 Gb/s throughput over a 25 m distance while avoiding the need to install separate optical transceiver modules. The integrated design reduces port-to-port insertion points and lowers power consumption compared with some copper alternatives. The single-piece cable simplifies installation and maintenance and its standardized connectors ensure plug-and-play compatibility with equipment that supports SFP+ AOC interfaces.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• Top-of-rack or end-of-row switch interconnects
• Switch-to-server and switch-to-storage connections
• High-density patching where space and cable management are important

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Interface: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Color: Orange
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Identify SFP+ ports on the two devices to be connected and ensure they support AOC cables. Align the connectors and insert each end into the corresponding SFP+ slot until it seats securely; no separate transceiver configuration is typically required. After connection, verify link status through the device management interface or LED indicators. For best performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable free from kinks or excessive stress.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable in accordance with recommended bend radius limits for optical fiber. Use this 25 m SFP+ AOC for short-reach 10 GbE connections inside racks and between adjacent racks; confirm device compatibility with SFP+ active optical cables before deployment to ensure proper link negotiation.
