SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-F5-BO 25 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-F5-BO is a 25 m SFP+ active optical cable engineered for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. Featuring SFP+ male connectors on both ends and an orange jacket for easy identification, this AOC (Active Optical Cable) provides a low-latency, high-bandwidth link between SFP+ ports in switches, servers and storage equipment. The cable is suitable for short-to-medium reach links inside data centers, server rooms and high-performance network racks where electrical copper cabling is impractical or where EMI immunity and lighter cabling are preferred.

Advantages

The active optical design offers consistent 10 Gbps performance with improved signal integrity compared with long copper assemblies, while reducing weight and cable bulk. With pre-terminated SFP+ male connectors, installation is plug-and-play with compatible SFP+ ports and eliminates field termination. The 25 m length balances reach and manageability for intra-rack and inter-rack connections. The orange outer jacket provides visual identification for fibre optic cabling.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit links between switches and servers within data centers
• Connections between storage arrays and host adapters with SFP+ interfaces
• High-density rack environments where low weight and EMI immunity are required
• Short-to-medium reach optical links replacing copper SFP+ DACs

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps (SFP+ compatible)
• Length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP+ male on both ends
• Outer colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Connect each SFP+ male end to the corresponding SFP+ port on the networking devices, ensuring both ports support 10 Gbps SFP+ modules or AOC transceivers. Verify link status indicators on the devices and check network configuration for proper speed and duplex settings if required. Handle the cable by its connector housings when plugging or unplugging and avoid tight bends or sharp kinks along the optical section to preserve signal performance.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use in controlled environments such as data centres and server rooms; avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture or areas with excessive mechanical stress. For optimal performance, maintain bend radius guidelines and keep connectors free from dust. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ passive/active optical interfaces before deployment.
