SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-NA-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-NA-BO is a 25 m SFP+ active optical cable with male SFP+ connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this orange cable supports 10 Gigabit links between compatible SFP+ ports and is intended for short to medium reach interconnects in network racks, servers and storage equipment. Its active optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and offers consistent latency characteristics compared with copper alternatives.

Advantages

This SFP+ active optical cable provides reliable 10 Gb/s connectivity with low power consumption and light weight, simplifying cable management in dense network environments. The optical medium avoids signal degradation over the 25 m length and reduces crosstalk and EMI issues. With SFP+ male connectors at both ends, the cable fits directly into standard SFP+ ports without adapters, allowing straightforward deployment and interoperability with compatible transceiver interfaces.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches and routers within data center racks
• Linking servers to top-of-rack or end-of-row switches
• Connecting storage arrays and network appliances supporting SFP+
• High-density cabling runs where reduced weight and EMI immunity are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP+ male on both ends
• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s (SFP+ class)
• Product colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Active optical cable (AOC) construction for reduced EMI

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ male connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network devices until the retention mechanism engages. Ensure both devices support 10 Gb/s SFP+ AOC connections and that port settings (speed, duplex, transceiver compatibility) are configured according to manufacturer guidance. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with your switches, routers or servers before installation and confirm firmware or driver support for SFP+ AOC modules. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, keep the connectors dust-free when not in use, and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors. Use the 25 m length for in-rack and adjacent rack connections where optical immunity and low weight are priorities.
