SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-PT-BO 25 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-PT-BO is a 25 metre SFP+ active optical cable with male SFP+ connectors on both ends, designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links and other high-speed network interconnects. The orange-coloured cable provides a compact, low-latency connection suitable for short to medium reach links within racks, between switches, and among servers in data centre and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers 10 Gbps performance with minimal signal loss and low latency compared with copper alternatives. The integrated optical transceivers eliminate the need for separate SFP+ modules, reducing installation complexity and saving space in dense equipment racks. The 25 m length allows flexible placement of devices while maintaining a single-cable solution with consistent transmission quality. Its lightweight construction simplifies routing and reduces strain on connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP+ ports on switches and servers within the same data centre or cabinet
• High-performance computing clusters requiring low-latency links
• Top-of-rack to aggregation switch interconnects
• Short- to medium-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+ (male/male)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps (SFP+ standard)
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Active optical cable with integrated transceivers for optical transmission

How to use

Insert the male SFP+ connectors into compatible SFP+ ports on networking equipment until they latch. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and that ports are enabled for 10 Gbps operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; follow the equipment vendor's insertion and removal procedure to prevent damage. No additional optical modules are required because the transceivers are built into the cable ends.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, maintain bend radius within manufacturer guidelines, avoid kinking the cable, and keep connectors clean when not in use. Use the 25 m active optical cable in indoor rack or cabinet environments and verify firmware and compatibility requirements on both endpoints when integrating into existing networks.
