SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-RW-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-RW-BO is a 25 metre SFP+ active optical cable engineered for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed serial interconnects. With SFP+ male connectors on both ends, this AOC delivers low-latency, interference-free connectivity between switches, servers, storage arrays and other SFP+ enabled devices. The cable's 25m length provides room for flexible rack and cabinet layouts while keeping signal integrity over the link.

Advantages

The active optical construction ensures consistent 10 Gbps performance with reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper solutions, and the factory-terminated SFP+ plugs simplify installation without separate transceivers. The BlueOptics design contributes to lower power dissipation at the link endpoints compared with some modular solutions and offers a lightweight, flexible cable assembly suitable for dense data centre environments.

Suitable for

• Inter-rack and intra-rack connections in data centres
• High-speed uplinks between switches and aggregation devices
• Direct server-to-switch or server-to-storage connections supporting SFP+
• Network equipment installations where EMI immunity and long reach beyond copper are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 metres
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC)
• Suitable for: SFP+ ports and 10G serial links
• Transmission medium: optical fibre with integrated transceivers

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-RW-BO by inserting each SFP+ plug into compatible SFP+ ports until the latch engages. Ensure both devices are powered and that the ports support 10 Gbps SFP+ links. No separate transceivers are required. Verify link status through the connected devices' management interfaces and confirm proper negotiation of speed and duplex where applicable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines, avoid exposure to liquids and extreme temperatures, and use cable management to prevent excessive tension. Verify compatibility with your network equipment vendor if a non-original brand is a concern, and monitor link LEDs or management logs after installation to confirm stable operation.
