S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 0,25 m sieťový kábel červený RJ-45 zlatý

The S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 0.25m networking cable Red RJ-45 Gold is a short-length Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in compact setups. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil with braided overall shielding) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable’s 0.25 m length and red jacket make it suitable for neat, visible connections between network devices in home, office, or data center patch panels.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver stable signal transfer and lower contact resistance, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher data rates. The short 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and latency for close-proximity connections, while the colored jacket simplifies cable identification in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in rack or desktop setups
• Linking network devices in home offices and small office environments
• Short patch runs in structured cabling and equipment interconnects
• Environments where visible cable identification is useful (red color)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs with braided overall shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Jacket color: Red
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Cat 6 performance

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on each device until the latch clicks into place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep the cable run as short as possible for the intended connection. The shielding requires proper termination at both ends and compatibility with shielded ports or grounded patch panels to maximize EMI protection.

Recommendations

Install the cable in a way that preserves the integrity of the shield: use shielded connectors and ensure chassis or patch panel grounding when connecting to network equipment. Use the short 0.25 m length for direct device-to-device links to minimize signal loss and maintain tidy cable routing; choose the red jacket for easy visual identification in multi-cable installations.
