Sieťový kábel BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-7M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 7m oranžový

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-7M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 7m Orange is a 7-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male connectors at both ends, engineered for high-speed, low-latency data transmission in data center and enterprise networks. Its orange jacket enables quick visual identification of InfiniBand or high-speed fabric links, while the SFP+ interfaces provide plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of switches, routers and servers that accept SFP+ ports. The cable is designed to maintain signal integrity over the full 7 m length, offering a compact, flexible alternative to discrete transceivers and fiber patch cords.

Advantages

The cable delivers high throughput and low latency suitable for 10 Gigabit-class connections and InfiniBand fabrics, while the integrated AOC design reduces power consumption compared with separate transceiver and fiber assemblies. Its fixed-length construction simplifies cable management and reduces insertion points, and the bright orange color makes tracing and maintenance tasks faster in crowded racks. The SFP+ connectors provide standardized mechanical and electrical interfaces for broad device compatibility.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices are powered off or support hot-plugging according to manufacturer guidelines before insertion or removal. After connection, verify link status in the device management interface and confirm negotiated speed and link health. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it within the rack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short-reach, high-speed interconnects inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid exceeding the manufacturer's specified minimum bend radius and protect the connectors from dust and mechanical stress. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules and check firmware or port settings if a link does not establish immediately.
