Sieťový kábel Dätwyler 21.05.0507 oranžový 0,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Dätwyler 21.05.0507 Orange 0.5m Cat6a S/FTP is a short patch cable designed for high-performance Ethernet connections. Built to Cat6a standard with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) configuration and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 0.5 meter cable provides stable data transmission and enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. The bright orange jacket improves visibility in cabling environments and helps with color-coded installations in homes, studios, server rooms and offices.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise, supporting consistent throughput at higher frequencies compared with lower-category cables. The short 0.5 m length minimizes signal loss for close-proximity connections and keeps workspaces tidy. RJ-45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports and the cable is manufactured to the Cat6a performance profile, enabling higher bandwidth over copper for demanding network tasks.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in patch panels, switches and routers at close distances
• Short links in server racks and network cabinets
• Color-coded cabling in offices, studios and multimedia installations
• High-speed Ethernet requirements such as 10GBASE-T in short runs

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Jacket color: Orange
• Suitable frequency range: up to Cat6a specified frequencies

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use this 0.5 m cable for direct, short-distance connections between devices such as switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain a gentle bend radius and avoid kinking to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For installations with multiple cables, use the orange color to identify links quickly in patch fields and trunking.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in environments where reduced interference and short, high-bandwidth links are required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Check connector seating and cable path regularly in active racks to prevent accidental disconnection or wear.
