Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 5 m oranžový

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable in 5 m length and orange jacket provides a high-performance wired connection for home, office, and professional networks. Constructed as S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference to support stable high-speed data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact, corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical durability while the flexible outer sheath simplifies routing and installation.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding design of the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable improves signal integrity and reduces susceptibility to external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. Cat7 performance supports higher bandwidths and improved headroom for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide low contact resistance and enhanced durability. The 5 m length covers typical desktop-to-switch or patch-panel runs and the bright orange color helps identify and organize cabling in crowded installations.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections (1G/2.5G/5G/10G where supported)
• Office and home network patching between routers, switches, NAS devices and PCs
• Structured cabling in small server rooms and multimedia workstations
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference, such as near power supplies or dense cable bundles

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 5 meters
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductors suitable for patch cable use
• Outer jacket color: orange
• Compatible with standard Ethernet wiring and RJ-45 ports

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network interface of your device and the other plug to the switch, router or wall plate to establish a wired Ethernet connection. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to prevent intermittent contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prolonged compression; maintain gentle curves to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For permanent installations use appropriate cable management accessories such as clips, trays or ties that do not excessively compress the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within recommended patching distances and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. When using the cable for multi-gigabit links, verify connected equipment supports the desired data rates. Use the bright orange jacket to label and segregate network runs for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
