TREND Networks PoE Pro BT tester káblov a sietí s detekciou PoE++

The TREND Networks PoE Pro BT stands apart from ordinary network testers by combining full IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) analysis with essential cable verification in a single handheld unit. While many testers stop at basic PoE presence, this device identifies the exact PoE type (1–4) and class (0–8), measures voltage, current, and power up to 90 W, and even emulates a powered device to prove the PSE can deliver the required wattage. Technicians no longer need separate tools for cable wiremapping and PoE troubleshooting—the PoE Pro BT handles both, reducing truck stock and speeding up every job.

Highlights

• Supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (PoE++) standards
• Detects PoE Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and Type 4, plus Class 0–8
• Measures PoE voltage, current, and power up to 90 W
• Powered Device (PD) emulation verifies PSE capability under load
• Integrated cable tester with wiremap, length measurement (TDR), and tone generator
• Detects network speed 10/100/1000 Mbps and supports Power over HDBaseT (PoH)
• Backlit LCD for clear visibility in dark wiring closets
• Runs on 6 x AA batteries—no proprietary charger needed

In daily use

Imagine walking into a facility where a new 802.11ax access point requires 60 W of PoE. With the PoE Pro BT, you connect inline between the switch and the AP, and the display immediately shows the negotiated PoE class, actual voltage and current, and the power being drawn. If the switch cannot supply enough power, the PD emulation mode lets you simulate the AP's load to confirm the PSE's limits. Then, switch to cable test mode to check the drop for split pairs or excessive length—all without swapping tools. The analogue and digital tone generator helps trace cables through bundles, and the port blink function identifies the correct switch port remotely.
