Vláknový kábel BlueOptics BK842A 30 m LC OM3 Aqua

The BlueOptics BK842A 30 m LC OM3 Aqua fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. This multimode OM3 cable features LC connectors on both ends and an aqua jacket for standardized identification. The product is intended for short- to medium-range links in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networks where reliable optical performance and easy cable management are required.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction supports high bandwidth and low attenuation for improved signal integrity over the specified distance. LC connectors provide a compact connection interface suitable for high-density patch panels and transceivers. The aqua colour jacket aids visual organisation and conforms to common industry colour-coding practices for multimode OM3 cabling.

Suitable for

• Data centre backbone and intra-rack connections
• Connections between servers and switches
• High-density patch panel installations
• Short- to medium-range multimode optical links

Key specifications

• Length: 30 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 125 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Jacket colour: Aqua
• Usage: Indoor structured cabling

How to use

Route the fiber cable along designated cable trays or ducts, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to maintain optical performance. Terminate the LC connectors into matching LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or network equipment, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure the cable without applying excessive pressure on the jacket, and follow workplace safety and ESD procedures when working near active equipment.

Recommendations

Clean connector end faces with an appropriate fiber cleaning tool before each connection, maintain minimum bend radius as specified by the installer guidelines, and store unused lengths on reels or in cable management trays to prevent kinks or mechanical damage.
