Vláknový kábel BlueOptics BK843A-BO 50m LC OM3 Aqua

The BlueOptics BK843A-BO 50m LC OM3 Aqua is a multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable short‑reach optical interconnection. It features LC to LC connectors and OM3 laser‑optimized multimode fibre in a 50‑metre length with an aqua LSZH sheath. The cable is intended for connecting patch panels, switches, or optical transceivers where OM3 performance and LC terminations are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics OM3 patch cable provides laser‑optimized multimode fibre for improved bandwidth and low attenuation over short distances. The LC‑LC connector pair delivers compact, industry‑standard terminations suitable for dense patching. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer jacket reduces halogen release and smoke emission in the event of fire, meeting common site safety requirements. The product is factory tested for insertion loss and return loss to ensure consistent performance.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting patch panels and network switches in data centers and server rooms
• Linking optical transceivers and short‑reach multimode links
• Structured cabling installations requiring OM3 multimode performance
• Environments requiring LSZH jacketed cables for safety compliance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode (laser‑optimized)
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 50 metres
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Colour: Aqua
• Tested for insertion loss and return loss

How to use

Route the fibre cable along the planned cable pathways, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert the LC connectors into compatible LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or switches until the connector latches. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss; use appropriate fibre‑optic cleaning tools if needed. Secure the cable with suitable cable management to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector end‑faces clean, observe the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and avoid tensile stress on the cable. Use this OM3 LC‑LC cable for multimode short‑reach applications and verify link loss with an appropriate test instrument after installation.
