How to use

Mount the Kathrein ESD 44 in an accessible location close to the antenna or incoming cable feed. Connect the input cable to the designated input connector, then attach the two output cables to the output ports. Use the loop‑thru port to feed an additional device or downstream splitter if required. Ensure all F‑type connectors are tightened securely and check polarity and shielding for best signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable lengths as short as practical and use quality coaxial cable and connectors. Verify signal levels after installation; if signal loss is excessive, consider using an amplifier or a different distribution topology. Follow local installation regulations and safety practices when mounting and grounding the unit.
