Aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP28 AOC BlueOptics BO272703Q2M 2 m – SFP28 2-metrový AOC

The Active Optical Cable CBO SFP28 AOC BlueOptics BO272703Q2M 2m is a factory-terminated 2‑meter SFP28 active optical cable designed for short-range high-speed connections in data centers and server rooms. With an SFP28 plug on each end, the cable enables 25Gbps optical links between switches, servers and storage devices while providing electrical isolation and low latency. The pre-terminated AOC eliminates field termination and simplifies installation for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment interconnects.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP28 AOC offers a compact, lightweight and low-power alternative to traditional copper and transceiver-plus-fiber assemblies. The integrated SFP28 connectors and factory-optical termination ensure consistent optical performance and compatibility with standard SFP28 ports. The product reduces signal loss and electromagnetic interference thanks to its optical transmission and delivers predictable latency for demanding networking applications.

Suitable for

• 25Gbps switch-to-switch interconnects within the same rack or adjacent racks
• Server uplinks to top-of-rack or leaf switches
• Storage area network links and connection to high-performance NVMe or SAN appliances
• Short-distance optical links in hyperscale and enterprise data centers

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP28 on both ends for 25Gbps optical links
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC) with factory-terminated connectors
• Length: 2 meters
• Transmission: Optical fiber for electrical isolation and low EMI
• Typical use range: Short-range/rack-to-rack data center interconnects
• Latency: Low-latency optical transmission suitable for high-performance networking

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on your networking equipment until the latch engages. Ensure that both devices support 25Gbps SFP28 modules and that firmware or port settings allow optical AOC links. No additional transceivers or fiber patching are required. For hot-plug operations, observe the host equipment recommendations and monitor link status LEDs or management interfaces to verify successful negotiation.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid tight bends near the termination points; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use this 2m AOC for intra-rack or adjacent-rack connections and prefer AOC solutions where low latency, EMI immunity and simplified installation are priorities. Check interoperability notes and firmware compatibility lists for the connected devices before deployment.
