AOC CBO SFP+ BlueOptics BO353503J5M 10G aktívny optický kábel, 5 m

The AOC CBO SFP+ BlueOptics BO353503J5M is a 10G active optical cable (AOC) with a 5 m length, engineered to provide a direct SFP+ connection between network devices. This AOC integrates optical transceivers and fiber in a single assembly, eliminating the need for separate modules and patch cords while enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth links for short-reach interconnects in dense networking environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers stable 10 Gigabit connectivity with reduced power consumption compared to discrete transceiver-plus-patch-cable solutions. The integrated design simplifies installation and cable management in racks and cabinets, minimizing signal loss and the number of connection points. With a 5 m length it supports flexible placement of servers and switches within data center racks and provides a compact solution for high-density deployments.

Suitable for

• Short-reach switch-to-switch interconnects in data centers
• Rack-to-rack connections in high-density network environments
• Server-to-switch links requiring 10 Gigabit bandwidth
• Environments where reduced latency and simplified cabling are important

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ (direct-attach active optical cable)
• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Length: 5 meters
• Media: integrated optical fiber with active transceiver
• Typical use: short-reach high-speed interconnects
• Application environment: data center and enterprise racks

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the switch, server or network device until the connector latches. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and are powered down according to device instructions if required by the vendor. After insertion, verify link status on connected devices and configure interfaces as needed for 10G operation. To remove, release the latch and withdraw the connector carefully to avoid stress on the cable assembly.

Recommendations

Use this 5 m 10G AOC for short-distance, high-bandwidth links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain, keep the cable path clear of high-traffic areas, and ensure ports and connectors are clean before installation to maintain optimal optical performance.
