AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q30M 30 m aktívny optický kábel, značka CBO, model SFP28-AOC-30M-CI-BO

The AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q30M 30M active optical cable by BlueOptics (brand CBO) is a factory-terminated, high-speed connection designed for SFP28 ports. This 30-metre active optical cable delivers a compact, low-latency link for short- to mid-range connections without the need for separate transceivers. It is intended for use in data center topologies, server-to-switch links and high-density networking environments where consistent 25 Gb/s-class performance and reduced cable bulk are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers a pre-terminated, plug-and-play solution that reduces installation time and complexity compared with discrete transceiver plus fibre assemblies. The cable’s optical design minimizes electromagnetic interference and provides stable, low-loss signal transmission over 30 metres. Its slim form factor and integrated connectors lower cable management overhead and improve rack airflow while supporting the high throughput required by SFP28 interfaces.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch interconnects in data centers
• High-density rack deployments where space and airflow are important
• Short- to mid-range 25 Gb/s links for storage and compute clusters

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 integrated optical connectors
• Link length: 30 metres of active optical cable
• Data rate class: 25 Gb/s-class optical link suitable for SFP28 ports
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with factory-terminated ends
• Form factor: low-profile, flexible optical assembly for high-density routing
• Operating environment: designed for data center and server room use

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector directly into the corresponding SFP28 port on networking equipment. Ensure the connectors are seated until the latch engages and verify link status through the host devices. No separate transceivers or field termination are required. Follow standard data center handling practices: avoid sharp bends near the connector, secure the cable to prevent strain on ports, and keep transceiver ports free of dust when not connected.

Recommendations

Confirm compatibility with your switch or host adapter vendor for automatic recognition and link negotiation when using SFP28 ports. Maintain minimum bend radius and use cable management to protect the optical assembly; inspect connectors periodically and use dust caps when cables are idle.
