Aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP28-AOC-50M 50 m SFP28 na SFP28

CBO SFP28-AOC-50M is a 50-meter active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, engineered for 25 Gbps links between servers, switches and storage devices. The fixed-length AOC delivers a direct fiber connection over 50 m while eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. It provides low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for dense rack-to-rack and top-of-rack interconnects in data center environments.

Advantages

The cable offers plug-and-play operation with hot-pluggable SFP28 ends that simplify installation and reduce downtime. As an active optical solution, it supports long-reach connectivity within racks and across adjacent racks while maintaining signal integrity and low insertion loss. Its all-fiber design reduces susceptibility to electrical noise and removes the need for manual fiber termination, improving reliability and cable management.

Suitable for

• 25Gbps server-to-switch connections
• Switch-to-switch or spine-leaf interconnects within data centers
• Rack-to-rack fiber links in crowded cable channels
• Storage area network (SAN) interconnects requiring low latency

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Data rate: Designed for 25 Gbps links
• Length: 50 meters
• Latency: Low-latency optical transmission
• EMI immunity: Fiber-based link reduces electromagnetic interference
• Installation: Fixed-length, plug-and-play

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector firmly into the corresponding SFP28 port on network equipment until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and that firmware or port configurations support 25 Gbps operation. No separate transceivers or fiber patching is required; the cable is ready for immediate use once seated. For initial deployment, verify link status and speed through the device management interface and check for any alarms or warnings.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius. Keep the cable away from high-heat sources and secure it within rack cable management to prevent strain on connectors. Use in environments where 25Gbps SFP28 port compatibility is confirmed and replace the cable if physical damage to the fiber or connectors is observed.
