BlueOptics CBL-LC-OM4-20M-BO InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 2x LC 20 m OM4

The BlueOptics CBL-LC-OM4-20M-BO is a fibre optic cable designed for InfiniBand and high-speed networking environments. It has two LC connectors, an OM4 multimode core with a 50 µm diameter and a total length of 20 meters. The cable supports full-duplex transmission and is intended to provide stable, low-loss links between switches, servers and storage systems in data centers and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fibre cable offers higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The 50 µm core and OM4 specification enable improved modal bandwidth for high data-rate applications, while the LC duplex connectors provide a compact and widely supported interface. The 20 m length balances reach and manageability in rack and row cabling scenarios, helping maintain signal integrity over typical intra-rack and inter-rack distances.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand links between servers, switches and storage
• Data center rack-to-rack interconnects
• High-speed multimode network segments (10G/25G/40G/100G depending on transceivers and equipment)
• Short to medium reach multimode fibre installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2x LC duplex
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 20 m
• Transmission: full-duplex
• Typical application: InfiniBand and high-speed multimode networks

How to use

Connect each LC duplex plug to the corresponding LC ports on the networking equipment, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable along cable management paths to avoid sharp bends and stress; maintain minimum bend radii as recommended by standard multimode fibre practice. Verify link status on the connected devices and, if required, perform basic optical testing for insertion loss and continuity to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid excessive tension, compression or tight bending. Use appropriate dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean connector endfaces before installation to reduce optical loss. Select compatible transceivers and interface hardware rated for OM4 multimode operation to achieve expected performance for InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet links.
