BlueOptics JNP-25G-AOC-10M InfiniBand/optický kábel SFP28 10 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics JNP-25G-AOC-10M InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP28 10m Male/Male is a 10-metre active optical cable designed for high-speed network links using SFP28 interfaces. It provides a direct, factory-terminated connection that supports data transmission in environments that require low latency and stable throughput. The cable is suitable for use in data centres, server-to-switch interconnects and storage area networks where a compact, plug-and-play optical connection is preferred.

Advantages

This 10 m active optical cable reduces electromagnetic interference and offers consistent signal quality over longer distances than equivalent copper solutions. The SFP28 male-to-male terminations ensure compatibility with SFP28 ports and allow straightforward hot-plug installation. Its construction minimizes weight and bulk while providing sufficient reach for rack-to-rack and in-rack connections without additional transceivers or patch panels.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 10 m SFP28 active optical cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on network devices, ensuring the retention latches engage. No additional drivers or optical transceivers are needed when connecting compliant ports; devices should recognise the link automatically. Avoid bending the cable beyond the recommended minimum bend radius and secure routing to prevent strain on the connectors. When removing the cable, depress the latch and pull straight out to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable in environments within standard temperature and humidity ranges for networking equipment, maintain clear routing paths to avoid sharp bends, and verify compatibility with device firmware or vendor compatibility lists when used in mixed-vendor setups. Regularly inspect connectors for contamination and clean with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools if necessary.
