BlueOptics LRCABLE1M InfiniBand optický kábel 1m LC žltý G.657.A1

The BlueOptics LRCABLE1M InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 1m LC Yellow G.657.A1 is a single-length, multimode-compatible fibre cable designed for short-reach high-speed links. With LC connectors on both ends and a 1 meter jacketed length, this cable supports reliable optical transmission using G.657.A1 compliant fibre with a 125 µm core diameter. It is intended for use in structured cabling, server racks and networking equipment where compact connectors and predictable optical performance are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low insertion loss and consistent signal quality due to the G.657.A1 fibre specification and precision LC terminations. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in dense rack environments and helps maintain orderly cable management. The yellow outer jacket provides standard color coding for single-mode networks and facilitates quick visual identification in mixed cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Short-reach InfiniBand connections between switches and host adapters
• Interconnects within server racks and patch panels
• Data centre fibre runs where LC connectors are required
• High-density networking environments demanding compact connector mating

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 1 meter
• Fibre type: G.657.A1
• Core diameter: 125 µm
• Jacket color: yellow (single-mode standard)
• Application: InfiniBand / high-speed optical links

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring bend radius recommendations for G.657.A1 fibre are observed to avoid microbending losses. Prepare rack pathways and patch panels so LC connectors mate cleanly with device ports; push the connector until it latches and check for a secure connection. If relocating equipment, disconnect by depressing the latch and pulling straight out to prevent ferrule damage. Avoid touching connector endfaces and use dust caps when ports are not in use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify connector cleanliness with an inspection tool and, if necessary, clean endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning supplies before installation. Maintain gentle bends and avoid tight loops; follow data centre cable management practices to minimize stress on the fibre and preserve link reliability.
