SFP+ aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M 10Gbit/s 20m

CBO SFP-AOC-10G-20M 10Gbps 20m is an SFP+ active optical cable in a hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor that provides a 10 Gbps full-duplex data link over a 20-metre duplex fiber assembly. It is engineered for short-range, high-speed interconnects between switches, servers and storage systems, offering low latency and lower power consumption compared with electrical direct attach copper alternatives. The cable supports standard SFP+ interfaces and is intended for use in data center and enterprise networking environments where reliable 10 Gigabit connections are required.

Advantages

The active optical cable delivers a stable 10 Gbps throughput across a 20 m reach while maintaining the small SFP+ footprint for easy hot-plug deployment. Compared with copper DACs, it reduces power draw and electromagnetic interference, and enables longer reach without transceiver modules and separate optical patch cords. The integrated optical link minimizes signal loss over the specified distance and provides consistent low-latency performance suitable for latency-sensitive traffic.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between top-of-rack and leaf switches within data centers
• Direct links between servers and storage arrays requiring 10 Gbps bandwidth
• Short-reach aggregation and uplink connections in enterprise networks
• Environments where reduced power consumption and low EMI are desired

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbps full duplex
• Form factor: SFP+ hot-pluggable
• Reach: 20 metres over duplex multimode fiber assembly
• Connector type: SFP+ transceiver interfaces (integrated cable ends)
• Latency: low-latency optical link suitable for server and switch interconnects
• Power consumption: lower than equivalent electrical DAC solutions
• Operating environment: designed for data center and enterprise networking use

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ end into the corresponding SFP+ port on your switches, servers or storage devices while the equipment is powered or as part of a planned hot-plug operation. Ensure both ends are fully seated and latched according to the host device instructions. The link should be recognized automatically by most compatible network interfaces; if necessary, verify port configuration and firmware compatibility on your hardware. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain recommended bend radius for fiber assemblies to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this SFP+ active optical cable for short-range 10 Gbps connections where low power, low EMI and a compact hot-pluggable form factor are priorities. Verify compatibility with your switch and server vendors' SFP+ port acceptance lists and avoid exceeding the specified bend radius and environmental limits to ensure reliable operation.
