BlueOptics SFP28 AOC 25 m InfiniBand vláknový kábel, SFP28 konektor–konektor, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28 AOC 25 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable, SFP28 male–male, mint colour is an active optical cable designed for short-reach 25 Gbps links. With SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m multimode fibre link, this lightweight mint-coloured cable provides low-latency optical connectivity for servers, switches and storage systems in data centre and rack-to-rack deployments.

Advantages

The cable integrates a transmitter and receiver at each end to convert electrical signals to optical and back, ensuring signal integrity over the full 25 m length. Its SFP28-to-SFP28 form factor follows MSA-compatible mechanical specifications, enabling plug-and-play use with devices that support SFP28 AOC modules. At 25 Gbit/s it supports high-throughput applications with low power consumption and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

Suitable for

• Short-reach server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links in data centres
• Rack-to-rack interconnects where 25 Gbps bandwidth is required
• High-performance InfiniBand or Ethernet fabrics and storage networks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male–male)
• Nominal data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Optical medium: active multimode fibre AOC with integrated transceivers
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the SFP28 port of the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure compatible SFP28 ports and firmware support 25 Gbit/s AOC modules before installation. Route the cable through the rack or tray without sharp bends; observe standard fibre handling practices to avoid stress on the connectors. After insertion, verify link status on connected equipment and monitor interface statistics to confirm stable operation.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics SFP28 AOC for short-distance high-speed links inside racks and between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bending radii, keep connectors covered when not in use, and verify device compatibility (SFP28 AOC support) to ensure proper operation. For structured cabling runs longer than 25 m consider alternative transceivers or active cabling rated for the required distance.
