Optický kábel BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C50-L-BO LC LC/UPC OM4 50 m ružový

The BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C50-L-BO LC/LC OM4 fibre optic cable in pink is a 50 m multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. It uses LC connectors with UPC polish on both ends and an OM4 grade 50 µm core to support increased bandwidth and extended reach for multimode networks. The cable's construction is intended for reliable signal integrity and consistent performance in data centres, server rooms and local area network links.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides improved modal bandwidth compared with lower OM grades, enabling higher data rates over multimode links. The LC/UPC connectors offer low insertion loss and stable mating performance in high-density patching panels. The 50 m length covers common inter-rack and cross-connect distances without the need for additional splices, while the pink jacket allows easy visual identification within cable bundles or racks. The cable jacket and connector ferrules are built to maintain alignment and minimize attenuation over time.

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks and maintain the minimum bend radius during installation. Insert the LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or switches until they latch securely. Ensure both ends are cleaned with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating to reduce insertion loss and prevent contamination. Route the cable through cable management trays or organisers to prevent physical stress and label both ends for future identification.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable within manufacturer-specified bend radius limits and environmental conditions. Use fibre-grade cleaning wipes or tools on LC/UPC endfaces prior to connection. For critical links, test attenuation and link performance after installation to confirm expected OM4 multimode behaviour and link budget compliance.
