Optický kábel BlueOptics SFP3233EU0.5MK SC ST OM3 0,5 m aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3233EU0.5MK SC ST OM3 0.5 m Aqua is a 0.5 metre multimode fibre optic patch cable optimized for short-reach, high-bandwidth environments. Designed for InfiniBand and other high-speed interconnects, this cable features an SC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other, and uses OM3 grade fibre to support full-duplex data transmission. The aqua jacket provides clear visual identification for OM3 multimode channels in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

This fibre patch cable provides low insertion loss and stable optical performance suitable for data centre and server room interconnects. The SC and ST connectors offer reliable mechanical coupling and repeatable connections. OM3 multimode fibre enables higher modal bandwidth and improved performance over earlier multimode grades for short-distance 10GbE and InfiniBand links. The compact 0.5 m length minimises excess cable bulk and helps maintain tidy rack and switch layouts.

How to use

Route the 0.5 m cable between the required transceiver ports or patch panels, taking care to align SC and ST ferrules with their mating adapters. Insert the SC connector until it clicks into the adapter and insert the ST connector with a 90° twist-and-lock action to engage the bayonet. Avoid tight bends or excessive tension on the cable to maintain optical performance. Verify link status on connected devices and, if necessary, clean connector endfaces before installation to prevent signal loss.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this OM3 multimode cable for short-distance, high-speed links (for example within racks or between adjacent racks). Keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines, store spare cables coiled without sharp bends, and clean connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools before mating to reduce insertion loss and reflections.
