SFP AOC kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-TL-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-TL-BO 25m Male/Male is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed data transmission over a 25 metre reach. Engineered for use in environments that require low-latency links and consistent throughput, this cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between compatible network devices. Its factory-terminated SFP+ ends simplify installation and reduce signal degradation compared with multi-segment copper runs.

Advantages

This SFP+ active optical cable offers stable 10 Gb/s performance over a 25 m distance while consuming less power than comparable transceiver plus copper assembly combinations. The integrated optical transceivers eliminate the need for separate modules and patch cords, reducing points of failure and easing inventory management. The cable’s plug-and-play design provides hot-pluggable convenience and predictable physical behaviour in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches and routers in data centers
• Server-to-switch connections in enterprise racks
• Short-reach aggregation links and top-of-rack deployments
• High-performance computing clusters requiring low latency

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 metres
• Data rate: 10 Gigabit Ethernet capable
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Latency: optimized for low-latency links
• Form factor: integrated SFP+ transceivers, hot-pluggable

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Verify link lights and device configuration to confirm a successful link. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required; devices typically detect the AOC automatically. Ensure ports support 10 Gb/s operation and that firmware or driver requirements of connected equipment are met before placing into production.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and secure the cable to reduce movement. Use the BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-TL-BO for consistent short-reach 10 Gb/s connections inside racks and between adjacent racks, and confirm compatibility with device vendor lists when interoperability is required.
