Aktívny optický kábel 2 m CBO SFP28-AOC-2M pre SFP28 porty, 25 Gbit/s, duplex

CBO SFP28-AOC-2M is a 2 m active optical cable engineered for direct connection between SFP28 ports at 25 Gbps. The cable uses a duplex optical interface in a fixed-length AOC form factor to provide short-reach interconnects for data center topologies, switch-to-switch links, and server uplinks. It is designed to reduce cabling bulk compared with separate transceivers and fiber patchcords while maintaining low latency and straightforward plug-and-play operation with SFP28-enabled equipment.

Advantages

The Active Optical Cable delivers a compact, integrated solution that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cables, simplifying installation and cable management. With a 25 Gbps line rate and duplex optical channels, the cable supports high-throughput, low-latency connections. Its fixed 2 m length provides predictable signal performance for short-reach links and reduces clutter in dense rack environments. The plug-and-play design ensures compatibility with standard SFP28 ports without additional configuration.

Suitable for

• Short-reach data center interconnects between switches and top-of-rack equipment
• Server uplinks to switches with SFP28 ports
• High-density cabling environments where reduced bulk is needed
• Low-latency links for storage and compute clusters

Key specifications

• Length: 2 meters
• Interface: Duplex optical AOC designed for SFP28 ports
• Data rate: 25 Gbps per link
• Form factor: Fixed-length active optical cable (AOC)
• Use case: Short-reach connections in racks and data centers

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector end into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until the latch clicks into place. Ensure both ends are seated in compatible SFP28 slots and that devices are powered and support 25 Gbps operation. No additional transceivers or fiber patchcords are required. After installation, verify link status and speed through device management interfaces to confirm a stable 25 Gbps connection.

Recommendations

Install the cable in cable-managed pathways to avoid sharp bends and excessive stress on the connectors. Use the 2 m length for short-reach links within the same rack or adjacent racks; for longer distances, select an appropriate optical solution. Confirm device interoperability and firmware compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules before deployment to ensure optimal performance.
