AOC CBO SFP-25G-D-AOC-10M-DG 10 m SFP28 aktívny optický kábel pre 25 Gbit/s pripojenia

The AOC CBO SFP-25G-D-AOC-10M-DG is a 10 meter SFP28 active optical cable engineered for reliable 25Gbps connections between SFP28 ports on switches, servers and network interface cards. This lightweight fiber link replaces copper twinax for short-reach links, offering immunity to electromagnetic interference and reduced power draw compared with DAC solutions. The cable is intended for data centre interconnects, rack-to-rack connections and server uplinks where compact, low-latency and energy-efficient cabling is required.

Advantages

This SFP28 active optical cable delivers consistent 25Gbps throughput over a 10 m reach while keeping power consumption and weight low. The active optical design provides better signal integrity and EMI immunity compared with copper alternatives, enabling stable operation in dense rack environments. The SFP28 form factor ensures compatibility with modern 25Gbps ports and simplifies installation without additional transceivers or patch cords.

Suitable for

• Data centre switch-to-switch and switch-to-server links
• Rack-to-rack interconnects within the same room
• Short-reach server uplinks and NIC connections
• Environments requiring EMI-resistant cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 active optical cable
• Maximum data rate: 25 Gbps per lane
• Length: 10 meters
• Cable type: Active optical fiber
• Form factor: SFP28 compatible
• Typical applications: Data centre interconnect, rack-to-rack, server uplinks

How to use

Insert each SFP28 module end into compatible SFP28 ports on the two devices to be connected until the latch clicks. Verify link status in the device management interface and configure port speed and settings as required by your network. No separate optical transceivers or patch cords are necessary; the active optical cable provides an integrated solution. For safe handling, avoid bending the cable below the minimum bend radius and route it to prevent strain on the connector ends.

Recommendations

Use this 10 m SFP28 active optical cable for short-reach 25Gbps links inside racks and between adjacent racks. Ensure connected equipment supports SFP28 modules and 25Gbps operation, and maintain recommended cable bend radius and temperature ranges in the equipment specifications for reliable long-term performance.
